The traditional way of constructing a composite door, our standard GRP range is made up internally of a mixture of polyurethane foams and a timber sub-frame. The foam core results in terrific energy ratings, whilst the timber sub-frame adds strength and rigidity to the door construction.
Nineteen stunning colours
The door can be as individual as you like. Six new door colours; Agate Grey, Fern Green, Purple Violet, Turquoise Blue, Pebble Grey and Pastel Blue have added to our existing thirteen; White, Black, Blue, Red, Green, Oak, Darkwood, Cream, Grey, Chartwell Green, Poppy Red, Duck Egg Blue and Black Brown.

Looking after the pennies
All of Door-Stop’s doors exceed the current Building Regulations for energy efficiency. To get technical, all new doors sold and fitted in England and Wales must have a U-value of 1.8W/m2K or better (1.6W/m2K in Scotland). The door’s U-value is a measure of its energy efficiency, and basically the lower the U-value, the lower your bills.
Manufacturers of doors made of timber, aluminium or PVC panels may struggle to meet the 1.8W/m2K requirement and many do not provide proof.
