Where has the year gone?
It seems like only yesterday that we sat down in the office trying to work out how we would promote Global Door for Christmas 2015 and yet here we are starting to count down the days to Christmas 2016.
It came as a shock when we looked at the Calendar here at GFD HQ and realised just how close we are getting to the big day, so we thought that it was time to give all of our potential customers a gentle reminder – if you want that new door as a present for your home to greet your friends and relatives this Yuletide you had better get your skates on as time is starting to slip away for Christmas installations.
Not only do our Global Doors look chic and stylish they provide that extra little bit of security that maybe you are not getting from your old door – manufactured as a pre-engineered unit of door and frame with multi point locking including the new “Ultion” lock as standard “(the lock that the industry says is the safest ever for household use) that’s security guaranteed – and when the following statistics are taken into account security is something we should all take very seriously;
“Last year the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) reported that there were an estimated 785,000 incidents of domestic burglary in the UK and most were on vulnerable and compromised properties.
Recent surveys suggest 54% of UK adults do not have security systems or burglar alarms installed in their homes 74 %of burglar alarms, already installed, do not contact the police.
- only 11 per cent believe that their household and possessions are safe and protected against burglar
- 31% of us have accidently left their windows open
- 20 per cent have left their doors unlocked.
- only 23 per cent use a light timer when they go out of the house for long periods,
- only 18 per cent have movement sensors installed and
- only 9 per cent have security cameras in their home.”
The pre-engineered frame we mentioned not only enhances security it also all but eliminates draughts keeping your home warmer and saving money on those all-important heating bills.
It is still not too late to get your new door for Christmas – but it soon will be – and when doors look as good as this you can let your imagination run wild –
– strategically placed wreath , holly around the door frame, you standing greeting your guests at the threshold and the warm air drifting out from your hallway carrying the with it the aroma of freshly baked mince pies –
Plus of course the admiring glances and the complimentary comments – you can look forward to them all when you order your home a new Global Door this Christmas.
