Available Bi Fold Configurations
We offer an impressive selection of door styles for you to choose from, and the Reynaers bi-folding door comes in a variety of configurations up to a tremendous 7 door leaves. These can be easily slid and stacked to one side to provide a seamless transition from your kitchen or dining room straight into your outdoor space. Perfect for summer parties and family get-togethers. Functionality is the cornerstone of our bi-folding doors, so it isn't just during the summertime that you will benefit from their adaptability.
For those of you who require regular access to your outdoor space, you can design your bi-fold to include an easily openable traffic door (a door that is hinged to the wall side, opposite the other sliding doors).
Traffic doors add independent access without having to operate the whole bi-folding system. Adding an aluminium bi-folding door to your home is a great way to blur the boundaries between outside and in, offering your home plenty of natural light and panoramic views of your garden space.

Bi-Fold or Patio?
Our expert team members are often asked the question, "Which is better, a bi-folding door or a sliding patio?" In reality, there isn't an answer to this question. Both bi-folding doors and sliding patios each have their own pros and cons and are best suited to entirely different environments.
The real question is, "which option is best for me?" To figure out which product is the best fit for you and your home, please read the considerations provided below:
Bi-folding doors need room to stack, so if you have opening restrictions, such as a balcony, sliding patio doors may be the better option for you as these do not need as much space to open.
Bi-folding doors need room to stack, so if you have opening restrictions, such as a balcony, sliding patio doors may be the better option for you as these do not need as much space to open.
Patios often offer a better energy rating as they usually have more glass than a bi-fold. If your home is subject to a competitive U value requirement, then a patio maybe your best option.
Bi-folding doors can only be manufactured up to 6 metres wide, whereas patios are available up to a whopping 12 metres!
In the way of price, there isn't much between the two options. However, patios with glazing panels that are1500mm plus are required to be upgraded to 6mm laminated glass, which comes with an added premium, upping your overall spend.
